Our second hike of 2022 took place yesterday at Lake Lotus Park in Altamonte Springs. It’s a charming boardwalk that loops around for about 1.5 miles with some amazing scenery along the way! It was a balmy 50 degrees F as well! Don’t miss it!

First Hike of 2022
Our first hike of the year was actually just a stroll along the boardwalk at Oakland Nature Preserve. However, over the next few months I intend to revisit my favorite Central Florida hiking trails. Stay tuned!

Foggy Morning
I took a foggy morning stroll at Palm Island Park in Mount Dora yesterday and saw quite a bit of wildlife. A great way to start the day!

We made a brief stop at Egans Creek Greenway on our way home from Amelia Island. Very scenic and full of wildlife!
Main Beach Park
Yesterday morning we enjoyed wandering around Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach. Amelia Island is a great destination for a weekend getaway!
