We hiked the Cascades Trail to Cascade Falls (aka The Cascades) at E.B. Jeffress Park along the Blue Ridge Parkway (MP 271.9). Very scenic!

Learn a fascinating slice of Florida history at Koreshan State Park in Estero. Highly recommended!

We saw Colin Hay perform at Plaza Live in Orlando last weekend. Great show! He’s an awesome performer and storyteller. Highly recommended!

We finally made it to Caladesi Island State Park in Dunedin last weekend and it was definitely worth the trip! To reach the island, you need to take a quick ferry ride ($16 per person) from Honeymoon Island State Park. We had an amazing stretch of white-sand beach all to ourselves, great shelling and even saw five gopher tortoises. Great time!

Our second hike of 2022 took place yesterday at Lake Lotus Park in Altamonte Springs. It’s a charming boardwalk that loops around for about 1.5 miles with some amazing scenery along the way! It was a balmy 50 degrees F as well! Don’t miss it!
